Last Name M-Z: 2:15 - 3:00pm
8 Year Olds
Pre-approved: 2:45- 3:15pm

We ask that the players arrive 10-20 minutes before their time slot for their specific age/name group (age should be determined based on the players age as of May 1, 2012). This gives time for registration, the player’s time to warm up and provides sufficient time for each player to be seen by the appropriate team managers and coaches. Document check will also be available during registration as proof of residency is required every year. If you are new to the league, please bring your Birth Certificate as well.

Document Check– Proof of residency is required to be shown every year. Little League International requires that each chartered organization verify that each player is a resident within their boundaries or appropriate exceptions have been filed. As such our registrar and volunteers will be verifying player’s residence. Please be aware that we need 3 forms of documentation as proof of residency.
(Driver’s License, Utility Bills, Insurance Documents, would be examples of 3 unique documents). Also, if you are new to the league, please bring the player’s Birth Certificate as well.

Volunteer Application Form

RNLL and Little League International requires any individuals that will have regular contact with players including managers, coaches, umpires, scorekeepers, and team parents have completed and submitted the Little League Volunteer Application Form along with a copy of their current driver’s license to the RNLL Safety Officer. You can download the at:

http://files.LeagueAthletics.com/Images/Club/1485/VolunteerApp2012.pdf

You can either email with a copy of your Driver’s License to
or bring it to Player Evaluations. We will have a copier available for your
Driver’s License if needed. The information supplied will be used to conduct
background checks via the ChoicePoint service. The ChoicePoint National Criminal File contains over 11.5 million sex related crimes, an increase of 2.6 million crimes from 2007. A check conducted through local or state law enforcement almost always does not meet the Little League minimum requirement as it checks only local and state records and is not a National Check.

Logo Wear– This year we will have t-shirts, sweat-shirts, and hats on hand
for purchase. As we get to inter-league play, city tournaments, and even on game days at Hartman, it is great to see family in logo wear showing their support of the league. Bring your cash and check-books to purchase.

Umpire Information– Our Chief Umpire will be on hand to talk about the exciting volunteer opportunity of being part of the RNLL umpire crew. Every team is required to provide umpires for games throughout the season. Training is
offered for all volunteers and many parents with little knowledge of the game
have really enjoyed becoming an umpire.

Volunteer Information– As you’ve seen in many emails, our organization as chartered under Little League International is an all-volunteer organization. It takes tremendous volunteer efforts of our Community to make the experience the best it can be for our players. We’ll have on hand some information on all
the ways that families can get involved in the league.

Equipment swap or donations – Please check your closets and garages for any gently used equipment (bats, gloves, cleats, balls, etc) that you no longer need or would like to swap. Any equipment that is donated will be used throughout the season for teams and families that can make good use of it.

2012 BASEBALL REGISTRATION

2012 BASEBALL REGISTRATION

Welcome to Redmond North Little League – its registration time for the Spring 2012 season!

Redmond North Little League Mission:
RNLL serves the youth in the area of King County east of Redmond by providing the opportunity to learn the game of baseball in a safe and supportive environment. We are a non-profit volunteer organization supported wholly by participation fees and donations.

The Little League program seeks to provide an outlet for healthy activity and an opportunity for training under sound leadership, all in the context of community participation. The program further strives to help children become good and decent citizens and establish the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.

We are dedicated to the development of our players, including their physical conditioning and skills, their mental agility in handling tactics and strategy, and their character as they learn sportsmanship in both winning and losing. We teach our players in an atmosphere of discipline and teamwork.

We provide these opportunities to all boys and girls ages 5-12 years old (Little League age is calculated based on age of player as of April 30, 2012) and do not limit participation on the basis of disability, race, creed, color, national origin, gender or religious preference. We look forward to meeting your player!

RNLL boundaries, visit www.littleleague.org/findyourleague and enter your address – it will confirm the proper Little League for you to register with.

  3. If you do not wish to register online, you may print a registration form and mail it to: PO Box 107, Redmond, WA 98073. You may also register online and submit payment by mail. In-Person registration will be available on Jan 21. Forms are available in the Documents area of the website.
  4. Fill out the Registration form completely.
  5. Carefully read the Requirements and check the boxes.
  6. Complete the Payment process. Submit forms. Print a copy of your receipt.
  7. Complete and return the REQUIRED volunteer application at Player Evaluation.
  8. Complete the Document Check: Bring a copy of your child’s original certified birth certificate if new to the league AND three pieces of proof of residency to In Person registration or email . Document check for all ages will be conducted at Evaluations on Jan 21 – please mark this date on your calendars. These documents are required by the national Little League organization and there are NO exceptions. Families will receive an email with details for Evaluation and Document Check day in early January.
  9. Sign up to volunteer! We are an all-volunteer organization and can only continue offering our programs with lots of parent help.
  10. Consider making a donation – your support goes towards scholarships, team equipment, fields, and other items to that help make RNLL a success!

We look forward to a fun and successful season with all the players and families!

League Volunteers and Corporate Matching Gifts
by posted 09/17/2009

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are grateful for all the hours each volunteer devotes to Redmond North Little League during the year. RNLL is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the service of our youth. Managers, Coaches, umpires, scorekeepers and facilities managers are all needed to help enable our baseball games, providing lasting memories for the players. Other volunteers are needed to serve as League officers, members of the Board of Directors, fundraisers, and team supporters. The Little League program seeks to provide an outlet for healthy activity and an opportunity for training under sound leadership—all in the context of community participation. The program further strives to help children become good and decent citizens while establishing  the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.

Many companies in our area have programs that match your volunteer time and make payments to organizations such as Redmond North Little League.  Microsoft is just one example of an area company that does this by donating $17 for every volunteer hour.  Your company may do the same.  Eligible volunteer examples that qualify include
  • Coaching
  • Umpiring
  • Scorekeeping
  • Field Preparation
  • RNLL Board Service
The money received from Volunteer Matching Programs such as Microsoft, goes to building a stronger RNLL program, providing scholarships for league registration, and supporting our Redmond Ridge field development project. If you volunteered time to RNLL and don’t work for Microsoft, please check with your company's Human Resources team to see if they have a Volunteer Hours Matching program.

For more details on submitting volunteer hours please

Thank you for your continued support of Redmond North Little League!
